lonely scrapper... =[

I have had a rather crappy day, but I have to look on the bright side of things. I came home to my wonderful little molli and she was just what I needed to brighten up what was a very bleek and ugly day. I hate my job, I hate my co workers, and I hate the politics of all of it. I really wish I could find a better job, but it isn't easy. I have my fingers crossed for one of the jobs I recently applied for though, we will see what happens.

I recently got a new cabinet for my scrapbooking room and I was so excited to put it together (with the help of Levi of course) so that I have a place to put all of my paper. It was too heavy for my wire type racks and I wanted a place free from light and dust so a cabinet was a wonderful christmas gift from Levi!

I really am trying to get back into scrapping. I think when my local store closed (and the only store around) it really put me into a mood. It was my only outlet for scrapping. None of my friends scrapbook and so it was the only place that I felt I could socially scrapbook. I am lucky to have met some pretty awesome people on the blogs and scrapbook.com though. I think I am just in need of a scrapbook pal. I really need someone to create with and laugh with. Maybe that someone will come along someday. Until then I will just have to get used to solitary scrapping. =[

We took Molli in for her first vet visit recently and I am so happy to say that she is 100% healthy! I was really nervous. It is so different with dogs than it is with cats. Dogs need so much more love and attention and I worry about her a lot more than I do Maynard, Potter, and Oden. I think it is just because she is a puppy and she is sooo small. I really love getting her sweaters and coats and toys and she is so spoiled already! Thats ok though because she is going to be our baby for a long time since we are not planning on having kids anytime soon.

Well I guess this is somewhat of a good update for now, I really hope I can motivate myself this week to do some scrapbooking and I will post some layouts if I accomplish any.

This is our little chihuahua Molli !!!

Levi got her for me as an early christmas gift.

She is so sweet and she is already bonding with maynard potter and oden!

This is Potter and Molli snuggling on the couch.

I also received many other gifts this year which I am very thankful for. I got a new toaster and blender and lots of pajamas. I was shocked that Levi bought me clothes, it was so sweet to see him take the time to pick out so many cute things. I really was nervous about hosting christmas dinner, but it went off without a hitch! It was so YUMMY too!

So I'm at work looking out the window at the blizzard like conditions. Ahh michigan weather. So I have really been slacking on the scrapbook front but I've been a little busy though with wedding stuff and christmas. Speaking of christmas I am super excited for it this year. The house is all decorated and I am actually hosting it for the first time. I really am excited to see levis face Christmas morning!

I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress. It even made me cry. I absolutely was blown away by the shop as well. They were so helpful and wonderful. After going to david's bridal and being devastated by everything about it, this was a breath of fresh air. Their shop is so modern and unique and everything I ever pictured. They even came in on a sunday just for me. It was such a great experience.

Wedding Ideas & Plans

So I have really gotten quite a bit of planning done lately.

We have found our reception location and are narrowing down our ceremony

location. We also found our cake vendor. Below is a picture similar to what we want.

A four tier cake with buttercream frosting with black bands around the bases of the tiers.

I want a few more gerbera dasies decorating each layer though. We plan to have five

dozen pink frosted cupckes with black sprinkles. I think instead of the tacky statues

on top we are opting for a silver "S" with rhinestones on it.

If you haven't figured it out yet our colors are Pink & Black!

We would like to use black linens and pink accents.

As for flowers we are going to use an array of pink and possibly

white gerbera dasies as well as white and pink roses.

My boquet will be two dozen long stem white roses.

I have already began purchasing the square glass centerpeice vases.

I found them at target for a steal! $3.32 each! They are priced wrong and I even called to enquire about it and they confirmed the price was $3.32 but on the website they are $13.29 weird huh?

I really like the look with black and pink ribbon wrapped around the middle of the vase and a loose bunch

of gerberas probably 8-10 and then maybe a "S" decal that is sparkly on the front.

I also like the floating flower idea.

We are doing Chinese for dinner as well as a chocolate fountain and candy station.

I think everyone will have their sweet tooth fufilled!

As for favors I am really in love with the Jones Soda idea. It is kinda pricy though.

I also like the idea of making chocolate apples and dipping them in mini pink m&m's.

We really want everyone to enjoy themselves so we plan on having a DJ for the whole night,

as well as ice skating, swimming, and a sitting area.

The venue we have has both a skating rink and pool with lifegaurds.

So the kids will stay busy and out of trouble.

We will be doing a full bar and a signature drink something that is pink and fruity.

The bridesmaids will be in black floor length dresses with pink sashes.

They will have gerbera dasies wraped with black ribbon and will have their hair in up do's.

My dress will most likely be a strapless sweetheart neckline dress with a tulle ball gown look.
